TITLE: FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU  (JER. 29:11)

GOD’S WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS?

  • Some false prophet (Hananiah) was telling them that exile was going to be over soonest. 

  • When Jeremiah heard this he waited on the Lord, God told him he had a different plan. 

  • To prosper them even in Exile.

  • They were not going home soon. 

  • Some of them will not see their home again

  • Sometimes God may not change your circumstances but will bless you in spite of your circumstances.

  • He will not take the storm away but will give you the authority to work out stormy waters

GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU?

  • Nobody is an accident

  • God has a plan for each person

  • Before He even formed you in the womb He knew you (Jer. 1:5)

  • Even if your parents did not plan for you to be born God has a plan for you

  • Even if you were a product of rape, God has a plan for you because you have His spirit in you

  • You were created in the image and likeness of God.


WHAT IS YOUR SITUATION?

  • Someone left you?

  • Did your business crash or you lost your job?

  • You lost someone?

  • Are you feeling  like one in exile?

  • Are you wishing things to return to normal?

  • God may want a new normal for you?

  • There are roses in your thorns 

  • Ask God to open your eyes that can see them

  • Even in your present circumstances there are resources, people, destiny helpers that God wants to use to bless you


BE WATCHFUL OF MERCHANT OF COMPROMISE:

  • Pray to the Lord for it, Because if it prospers, you to will prosper: organizations, businesses, communities, churches, relationships

  • Be careful of false prophets, scammers, compromise merchants, those who want you to circumvent the system

  • There will be a time of visitation: in 70 years time will fulfil my ood promise to bring you back to this place. 


BE RESOURCEFUL:

  • Live in the present. Live to the fullest (invest, settle down, marry, procreate, plant gardens, be productive, increase…)

  • As you are waiting for the big job, your green card, seize the moment, what is possible, what options do you have?

  • Seek the peace and prosperity of the city for which I have carried you into exile.  


Thus Says the Lord

  • God will make a way

  • The steadfast love of our Lord never ceaseth

  • He is the pillar that holds our  lives

  • He is the Way maker

  • He is too faithful to fail us.

Acholonu ​Faith is bailing out a friend. “But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 18:24. For our Lord Jesus Christ, “bailing out a friend” means nothing but dying for you and me on the cross.  Christ died upon the cross of Calvary to save us from all our sins and guilts. What a great faith that is? It is beyond our imagination. In fact, he ran the risk of giving everything he had, including his life to save his friends, who might not appreciate it.
