Acholonu ​Faith is bailing out a friend. “But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 18:24. For our Lord Jesus Christ, “bailing out a friend” means nothing but dying for you and me on the cross.  Christ died upon the cross of Calvary to save us from all our sins and guilts. What a great faith that is? It is beyond our imagination. In fact, he ran the risk of giving everything he had, including his life to save his friends, who might not appreciate it. What lesson can we his creatures learn from this unimaginable sacrifice? Can we bailout our friends in time of difficulties without grumbling or expecting reward or pay back? Being human, sometimes we lack the skill of making such expensive sacrifice to our fellow human beings like Christ did for us.
