  NAACUS WOMEN'S MINISTRY: NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 2020 NAACUS Women Ministry (NWM) Exhortation Women in the BIble Series on the Book of Judith Judith the Woman after God’s Heart The book of Judith is one of the seven Deuterocanonical Apocrypha books, found only in the Catholic Bible. These books are full of natural theology which helps us better understand God by in the natural signs. These books were removed from the Protestant Bible during their 16th century reformation because they argued that they were not inspired by God. However, scholars have confirmed much of the stories in the Apocrypha books based on the Dead Sea Scroll found in 1940.       Judith rose to the occasion at a difficult time of war for Jewish people, just like our contemporary times riddled with wars, injustice, corruption, COVID19 etc. all over the world. Judith is set to strengthen our faith in Gods abiding presence among us. Lessons from the story of Judith include that the reader can be reassured to trust in
